About the Speakers

Jeff Lucyk 
EVP, Head of Sales, Global X Investments Canada Inc.

Jeff is responsible for managing and leading the sales team to identify new business opportunities and enhance the growth of the firm. He was formerly the Vice-President and National Sales Manager at Norrep Investments. Mr. Lucyk graduated from Brock University with an Honours Degree in Business Administration and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation. 

Vern Roberts, CFA®, CMT®, MBA  
VP and Lead Options Strategist, Global X Investments Canada Inc. 

Vern oversees all physical, option overlay strategies at Global X and has been with the firm since 2022. He has over 15 years of experience in global capital markets working in previous roles such as Equity and Derivatives trader at Merrill Lynch, and Equity Sales at TD Securities. He specializes in utilizing active quantitative strategies of derivative-based ETF portfolios. Mr. Roberts graduated from the University of Oxford with a Master of Business Administration focusing on Finance and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation and the Chartered Market Technician (CMT®) designation.
